BS in Climate and Environmental Change now available

色视频下载 is on the front lines of climate change. 色视频下载 and the Arctic are warming at twice the rate of the global average. The state色视频下载檚 tundra and boreal forest ecosystems are undergoing rapid change, with a potential for significant feedback to climate as sea ice melts and permafrost thaws. With the choice of one of four areas of concentration, Ecological Processes, Environmental Earth Science, Physical Processes, or Sustainability, UAF graduates will be part of the solution.

Earth Systems Science graduate degree program

Students in the Earth System Science (ESS)  graduate degree program will develop the tools needed to navigate cross-disciplinary problem solving using a systems approach. The program includes  disciplinary concentrations in Sustainability, Ecosystems, Hydrology, Atmospheric and Climate Sciences, Cryosphere, Solid Earth Geophysics, Geoscience, and Geospatial Science .

    A recent study published in Ecological Informatics by a team of University of 色视频下载 Fairbanks researchers has used artificial intelligence to further illuminate a habitat swap among short-billed gulls.

    Typically gulls live along coastlines and near water sources such as rivers. They feed on bugs and other small mammals, fish or birds.
