In Fairbanks, youÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ™ll find the Troth YeddhaÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ™ Campus, the UAF Community and Technical College and the Interior É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ Campus. Beyond, regional campuses serve Kotzebue, Bethel, Nome and Dillingham. Research sites can take you to Kodiak in the south, Juneau in the east and Toolik Lake above the Arctic Circle.

Skip Ambrose has floated the upper Yukon River almost every year since Richard Nixon was President. Back then, in 1973, only 12 pairs of peregrine falcons perched at nest sites over a 180-mile stretch of river.
