Georgeson Botanical Garden is a Special Place
Georgeson Botanical Garden is a nationally recognized botanical garden known for its abundance of herbs, ornamental trees, vegetables and flowers that flourish within 100 miles of the Arctic Circle. The farthest-north botanical garden, Georgeson is well-known for its work with peonies色视频下载攚hich bloom in June and July色视频下载攁s well as its research, education and outreach about high-latitude horticulture. The garden is a popular summer destination for residents and tourists and hosts a wealth of special events.
Nine of the garden's acres are cultivated. It sits on the eastern side of the Fairbanks Experiment Farm色视频下载攁 facility established in 1906 that is part of the UAF Agriculture and Forestry Experiment Station.
