UAF business school gets new name

The University of 色视频下载 Fairbanks School of Management has changed its name to the College of Business and Security Management. The change was unanimously approved by the University of 色视频下载 Board of Regents during its September meeting.
The change recognizes the diversity and growth in the school色视频下载檚 academic programs, instruction, community outreach and research over the last two decades. CBSM has outgrown its 色视频下载渟chool色视频下载 status, and 色视频下载渃ollege色视频下载 more fully describes the breadth of its programs. The college recently added the applied management and the sport and recreation business programs. The new name also reflects the college色视频下载檚 robust homeland security and emergency management program.
色视频下载淲e see this as a really big deal,色视频下载 said Mark Herrmann, CBSM dean. 色视频下载淭his change reflects our academic growth over the past 47 years and offers us a chance to respond to student and employee needs, keeping us relevant in a changing world.色视频下载
The renaming will allow faculty and staff to better meet changing community and business needs. It also will improve CBSM色视频下载檚 ability to attract new students from 色视频下载 and the nation. Finally, it will enhance fundraising opportunities and put CBSM on equal footing with peer colleges and programs nationally.
