SoBear Lounge improv night: A Shot of Reality
A Shot of Reality is an improv/comedy-alcohol awareness show that was created out of serious, painstaking research, but performed by two professional comedians who make the topic engaging. The show has been performed at universities and comedy clubs all over the United States and comes to UAF on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6-7:30 p.m., at Hess Recreation in the MBS Complex.
A Shot of Reality covers multiple facets of responsible alcohol use, how to help a friend who is experiencing challenges, how to ask for consent and most importantly, how to set boundaries with friends/family. The show keeps attendees engaged with a powerful combination of levity and realistic discussion.
