Simmons, who holds a Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology, brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a faculty member and senior administrator at UAF. Simmons is from the Yukon and Koyukuk River communities of Galena, Koyukuk, and Huslia.
