NASA cooperative research grants

É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ NASA EPSCoR is beginning its Cooperative Agreement Notice grant pre-proposal cycle. Notices of intent for pre-proposals are due July 17, 2023 to uaf-spacegrant@alaska.edu.

NASA CAN research grants allow institutions to cooperate with NASAÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ™s mission directorates and NASA centers and contribute to the development of research infrastructure in our state as a NASA EPSCoR jurisdiction.  É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ NASA EPSCoR supports proposals that develop partnerships with NASA and cultivate capabilities to seek external sources of funding.

Proposals can be submitted for a maximum award of $750,000 for three years of performance. There is a 2-to-1 NASA requested funds to match funds requirement.

  • Aug. 14 É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ“ Pre-proposal submitted to É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ NASA EPSCoR office
  • Sept. 1 É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ“ Pre-proposals reviewed and selected to move forward
  • *Nov. 15 É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ“ Proposal to NASA EPSCoR (*tentative)
