Museum to celebrate solstice with tea and conversation

The UA Museum of the North will celebrate the winter solstice with hot tea and conversation in the lobby from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 21.

The informal gathering is an opportunity to warm up after the Pavva Iñupiaq DancersÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ™ outdoor . Pavva will sing, drum and dance to the rising sun at 11 a.m. at Troth Yeddha' Park, next to the museum.

For those who canÉ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ™t join in person, University of É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ Fairbanks public affairs will livestream the dance on .
