Join ORCA in recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month by participating in our "Hope Blooms" photo competition. Purple is the color for Domestic Violence Awareness. It takes all of us to prevent domestic violence. Let's light up our campus with hope for healthy relationships and support for survivors.

Come get a purple rose -- bloom light at the ORCA Office, on the third floor of Constitution Hall (M-F, 8-5 p.m.). Blooms can also be picked up at any of our DVAM tabling events. Please check the ORCA POD -- Nanook Engage page for more information on tabling events. Or, like us @UAFORCAPOD on Instagram for more event information.

Once you get your rose, get creative! Decorate your space, perfect your selfie, or take a scenic photo with your bloom light. Send us your favorite photo and be entered to win our Hope Blooms prize. Winners will be announced on Oct. 31 at our SoBear Lounge event (Hess Recreation, 6-7:30 p.m.).

To enter, please complete our Hope Blooms Nanook Engage form. Be sure to attach your photo!
